Child Safe Standards Training

All organisations that have contact with children must comply with the new Child Safe Standards, introduced by the Victorian Government, by January 1st 2017.

The Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare is running free training sessions to organisations in the entertainment sector and transport service providers, including:

  • Entertainment agencies (talent scouts, casting agencies, filmmakers, theatre production and photographers)
  • Talent and Beauty shows
  • Dance Schools
  • Transport for children (buses, taxis etc)

Key staff members, including CEOs, managers and board members are encouraged to attend.
