Helping fathers go further as parents

On 20 March the Centre is offering a new Knowhow session on fatherhood. Find out how fatherhood has changed and how services can work more successfully with fathers to help them go further in their role as parents.

Our facilitator is Scott Hall, Coordinator of men and family relationships programs at the Sunshine office of Relationships Australia. Scott works with maternal child health, local councils, kindergartens and primary schools on parent programs that are father and family-friendly.

Take part in Residential Care Census Week

The week of 20–24 February is Residential Care Census Week, and we need your help!

The Centre is asking all community service organisations offering residential care in Victoria to contribute to our annual snapshot of the residential care workforce by completing our confidential online survey.

The survey will help us to strengthen residential care in Victoria by building a clearer picture of workforce demographics, qualifications, unit structure and staffing, as well as issues such as the use of relief staff, staff retention and turnover.
