Pathways to Resilience, EACH/Uniting/ACF

About

Program is a partnership between Uniting, EACH, and the Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF). 

Target group

Young people aged 12-17 years and their family. 

Program aims

The program uses therapeutic approaches that support healthy expression of emotions and engaging in respectful and connective relationships. 

The service uses assertive outreach strategies, and prioritises ongoing risk assessment and collaborative safety planning. 

Program components/format

  • Intensive individual and family counsellingincluding safety and wellbeing assessment, care plan,intervention and referral to external agencies.  
  • Groupwork programfor adolescents. This is a skills-based program focused on promoting healthy emotion regulation, communication and relationships with others. 
  • Access to brokerage resources.

Program duration

6 months

Service area/Eligibility 

Program operates within the local Government areas of Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia  

Young person is using violence and at risk of family breakdown, homelessness, disengagement from community and education, youth justice and/or mental health difficulties.
