Child Safe Standards: An Introduction

All organisations that deliver services to children, or come into contact with children, fall under the legislated Child Safe Standards. These include, all early years and children’s services, schools, child and family services, health services, arts organisations, sporting clubs, and many more.

If this is you or your organisation, you have a responsibility to keep children safe in your work place.

This session is an introduction to the Victorian Child Safe Standards and will provide a general overview of the Child Safe Standards in Victoria and how they apply to you and your organisation.

Recommended audience:

New staff or volunteers/ New Board appointees or committees of management. No prior knowledge of the Child Safe Standards is presumed.
