CPR training only  – Half day CPR Training (9.30 am to 12.30 pm – Day 1)

This half-day accredited unit of competency teaches and refreshes the skills and knowledge required to provide Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) as a first aid response to a person who is unconscious and not breathing.  The course covers CPR techniques on adults, children and infants.

Who Should Attend?

The unit applies to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies. It covers the care of a person who is suffering an asthmatic or anaphylactic reaction until the arrival of medical assistance.

Learning Outcomes:

• Principles of First Aid includes OHS requirements, legal responsibilities
• Assess an emergency situation
• Management of an unconscious casualty (include CPR and Defibrillation)

We will issue a full refund if we cancel the course or reschedule the course.

Participants who withdraw more than 15 days before course commencement will receive a full refund. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the agreed start date, we will be unable to issue a refund.

Course and name transfers may be made if vacancies exist.

If there are extenuating circumstances for your cancellation, please apply in writing, attaching any relevant documentation, such as a medical certificate. Application for special consideration does not guarantee a refund.
