With the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare, being Victoria’s Peak Body for Child and Family services – we are proud to lead initiatives aimed at the prevention and response to Occupational Violence and Aggression for out of Home Care Providers.

A series of employee awareness sessions delivered to regional and metro residential care providers specifically targeted ensuring the child and family services sector are providing awareness, support and guidance on best practice in the prevention of OVA of occupational violence and aggression.

Workshop Objectives

  • To develop awareness on aggression in the workplace, the risk factors and sources of aggression
  • Gain an overview of the control measures in place to reduce the risk of harm to health and injury to yourself and others
  • Understand the policy and procedure for managing aggression in the workplace incidents
  • Know where to access help and support
