This webinar is aimed at supporting trainees to develop their confidence and competence in supporting young people to increase their coping skills. Katherine will discuss evidence-based approaches to supporting young people to improve their emotion recognition and emotion regulation skills, and discuss how these can be integrated into day-to-day caregiving, and case management.

Facilitator Bio
Katherine Monson is a social worker and family therapist, who has worked in specialist mental health settings for over 15 years. Katherine is passionate about supporting workers and caregivers in Out of Home care that support young people to develop skills to look after their wellbeing.
