Some functions that once belonged to doctors and nurses have been given to Support Workers. As such there is a need for workers to be aware of consequences they face and their accountability as a Support Worker from a legal perspective. Through your participation in this workshop, you will learn about the laws guiding what can and can’t be done by a Support Worker and understand the necessary skills to protect the safety and well being of all individuals we support.
