This training is only available for residential care workers in Victoria.

The Remote Cultural Awareness Workshop covers similar content to our powerful and successful face to face session. This includes Frequently Asked Questions, Colonisation, Stolen Generations, Privilege, Aboriginal culture today and how to work respectfully with Aboriginal people. There is a supporting Learners Guide that participants will receive with pre readings, a webinar and activities to enhance the learning experience. The workshop is perfect for participants who are working in the community services sector, with Aboriginal children and families or simply want to continue their learning journey.

The Centre for Excellence acknowledges the Tradition Custodians of the land on which we work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty has never been ceded and this was and always will be Aboriginal land.
We appreciate and celebrate diversity in all its forms. We believe diversity of all kinds makes our teams, services and organisation stronger and more effective.
