This half-day workshop explores how to establish and maintain healthy behaviours to support mental and physical health, and reduce stress in the workplace.
The workshop will assist participants in creating a more sustainable worklife balance by developing effective goal-setting tools. Participants will learn cognitive and mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques, as well as strategies to build their resilience and reduce stress levels.
• How to respond instead of react under stress
• How to use a range of fast and effective positive strategies and mindfulness techniques to reduce stress levels
• How to turn off the ‘stress response’ and activate the ‘relaxation response’
• Learn to use cognitive strategies to recognise seven change attitudes that can escalate stress
• Establish and maintain your own wellbeing goal to reduce stress and improve mental and physical health
Who should attend?
This workshop is suited to any workers who are experiencing stress in the workplace. This workshop will benefit workers who want to learn techniques to reduce stress and prioritise selfcare.
