State Government Guidance

These resources have been developed by the Victorian State Government to support the implementation of the Information Sharing Schemes and MARAM.

Update

New MARAM practice guides and tools released for professionals working with adults using family violence. These resources build on the MARAM Framework (released 2018) and victim survivor focused Practice Guides (released 2019).

Centre Resources

The Centre has created the following resources to support the implementation of the MARAM framework and Information Sharing Schemes. These resources aim to increase knowledge, confidence and capacity among child and family services, and allied sectors, to work collaboratively to contribute to positive practices for children and their families. 

MARAMIS Overview Guide

This guide is to assist the child and family services sector to navigate the information and resources currently available regarding MARAM and the Information Sharing Schemes.

  1. Section 1 of the guide provides a high-level overview of MARAMIS and key resources.
  2. Section 2 of the guide provides a context for organisations that are aligning their policies, procedures, tools, and other resources to MARAMIS.

Resource Drive

This resource drive aims to assist professionals to strengthen their practice when working with children and young people. It contains resources related to child development, child wellbeing, child-focused practice and children’s experiences of family violence, as well as relevant MARAM and Information Sharing Scheme resources that can assist professionals in implementing and aligning to these reforms.

Emerging Themes

Emerging Themes is a video series exploring emerging themes of MARAM and the Information Sharing Schemes. These videos will assist in staff training, professional development, and capacity building and will enable a greater understanding of issues that relate to the family violence reforms.

Coordinated and Collaborative Responses

This webinar series is a collaboration series between the Centre, Domestic Violence Victoria and No To Violence exploring collaborative responses for MARAM Responsibility 9 and 10.

Statewide Childrens Resource Centre: Practitioner Toolkit

The State-wide Children’s Resource Program (SCRP) advocates for and assists practitioners in homelessness support and other non-government services to respond more effectively to the needs of children who have experienced homelessness and/or family violence.

MARAM and Information Sharing Training

To simplify planning for staff professional development, the Centre has developed a training summary outlining accessible training relating to MARAM and the Information Sharing Schemes. The training summary provides an overview of the relevant training for all workers prescribed in MARAM framework organisations or within Information Sharing Entities (ISEs).
