Join the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare

The Centre currently represents over 100 organisations and individual members across metropolitan, regional and rural Victoria. We offer a range of membership options to allow organisations and individuals to join, collaborate and engage with the sector, be informed and take advantage of our extensive communication channels, and benefit from the services offered by the Centre to advocate on their behalf and build their capacity.

The Centre offers four main membership types:

1. Full Member

This membership type is open to organisations upon application and approval by Board.

Full membership is available to not-for-profit organisations, local government and community health service units providing child, youth and family welfare services in Victoria.

Member Benefits

  • Voting rights at our AGM and other members’ meetings
  • Entitled to stand for Board
  • A full subscription to all our member communications
  • The opportunity to join any of our member networks
  • The opportunity to provide feedback on policy and practice
  • Discounted rates for selected training
  • Practical support and the chance to cross-promote through sector communications
  • Early bird ticket access for major events

Fee: 0.14% of expenditure on Child, Youth and Family services funded by DHS, Victoria.  Minimum fee $346.50 including GST

Full membership is available to not-for-profit organisations, local government and community health service units providing child, youth and family welfare services in Victoria, and upon application and approval by Board.

2. Subscriber Member

Subscriber membership is available to organisations ineligible for full membership, and upon application and approval by Board.

Member Benefits

  • Invitation to our AGM (no voting rights)
  • A full subscription to all our member communications
  • The opportunity to join any of our member networks
  • The opportunity to provide feedback on policy and practice
  • Discounted rates for selected training
  • Practical support and the chance to cross-promote through sector communications
  • Early bird ticket access for major events

Fee: $195.00 per year including GST

3. Individual (Associate) Member

This membership type is open only to individuals upon application and approval by Board. Associate membership is available to interested individuals committed to child, youth and family welfare services, as approved by the Board.

Member Benefits

  • Discounted rates for selected training and events
  • A subscription to all Member communications and the Sector Buzz newsletter
  • An invitation to our AGM (no voting rights)
  • The opportunity to join our network groups and/or provide feedback on policy and practice
  • Invitations to member-only events and feedback sessions
  • Early bird ticket access for major events

Fee: $50.00 per year including GST

4. Student/Concession Member

Student membership is open only to individuals enrolled full-time in a course at an Australian tertiary/post-secondary institution and upon application and approval by the Board.

Member Benefits

  • Discounted rates for selected training and events
  • A subscription to all Member communications and the Sector Buzz newsletter
  • An invitation to our AGM (no voting rights)
  • The opportunity to attend member meetings and provide feedback on policy and practice
  • Early bird ticket access for major events
  • First preference and access to student placements and opportunities with the Centre

Fee: $10.00 per year Including GST
