  • The Centre have strong connections to government departments and sit on a number of state and federal government advisory committees
Consultations & Research
  • We consult with our members on issues they need addressed
  • Our representation includes undertaking research, facilitating the Outcomes, Practice and Evidence Network (OPEN) and writing/participating in policy submissions to government.
Collaboration
  • We collaborate with our members on projects, webinars, training, and annual events,
  • We provide local regional networks to facilitate local connections among members
  • We distribute information, resources, and funding opportunities to our members via a fortnightly ebulletin, a monthly research review, a members-only section on our website, quarterly policy and practice newsletters to members and the broader sector, and monthly network forums covering a range of areas 
Learning & Development
  • We provide accredited and non-accredited training for the child and family services sector.
  • We also provide a % discount to our members on training we deliver
Recognise
  • We hold annual conferences and events like the OPEN symposium, & Resi ROCKS.
  • We recognise significant efforts of individuals involved in the sector by awarding a range of awards including the Centre’s annual Media Awards, Residential Care Awards, & Leaving a legacy awards.
