Spaghetti Bolognaise on a Tuesday Night

The paper, ‘Spaghetti Bolognaise on a Tuesday Night’, was produced by a group of young people who have been in care. The paper reflects on young people’s experience of statutory case planning processes and makes a series of recommendations to improve the processes.  The paper was recently presented by the young people at a meeting with Bernie Geary, Principal Commissioner, from the Commission of Children and Young People and Robyn Miller, Director, Office of Professional Practice, DHS. The young people have also met with Deb Tsorbaris, CEO, Centre for Excellence to discuss the paper. These meetings have resulted in strong support for the work of the young people and the paper’s directions.
