The Centre’s response to the Victorian Ombudsman’s report on OPCAT

The Victorian Ombudsman also released their response to OPCAT (Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment). The report is entitled “OPCAT in Victoria: A thematic investigation of practices related to solitary confinement of children and young people”. The report is here.
