Free Forum for Carers: Raising Expectations

Friends in Park

On July 28, the Centre’s Raising Expectations team will be holding a free forum for carers in Victoria, in conjunction with a number of other organisations.

This free event is open to all carers of children and young people in Victoria, including kinship, foster and permanent care parents. It will be held in Melbourne, at the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre.

The forum aims to assist carers to support the learning and education needs of the young people they care for. It will include lots of speakers about different education initiatives and support and services and provide an opportunity for networking, learning and sharing experiences.

If you are a foster carer or kinship carer with a statutory order and need financial support to attend the forum, please contact Deborah on 9020 1833 or email deborah@pcafamilies.org.au

Financial subsidies are available for transport, child care and accommodation based on travelling distance from carers home to venue.

Lunch will be provided.

For more information on speakers, and topics, take a look at the flyer.

Registrations are essential. Please register for this free event here.
