Parenting with an intellectual disability

Do you work with parents with an intellectual disability? If so, don’t miss this one-day training program next Thursday 25 August.

This workshop aims to share best practice evidence for effectively working with parents with learning difficulties or intellectual disabilities. Share the learning from the CAFS highly successful Growing Together Program.

This program was established to support parents with an intellectual disability or learning difficulty and has now been running for six years. It provides the optimal opportunity for successful parenting through intensive long-term in-home support encouraging safe, nurturing parenting. The workshop will also discuss the outcomes of the three-year evaluation.
