Foster Care: Hotline and Website Funding Extension

The Department of Human Services has informed the Centre of a continuation of funding for a restricted telephone hotline referral service and website maintenance, pending the outcomes of market research into recruitment in foster care. The Centre is not able to offer telephone support to inquirers or recruitment support to foster care providers. However, the data base is still operational and we need the co-operation of Foster Care Program Managers to ensure that entries are up to date – this includes ensuring that organisations’ contact email addresses are current to deliver a flow of referrals from the Centre. For further information contact Marilyn Webster on (03) 9094 3521.
