This training is provided by the Department of Health for Department of Health-funded workforces.

Putting MARAM Into Practice Workshops (4 hours) – all are welcome to attend these workshops however, they are well suited for those who have completed MARAM intermediate-level training and who want to expand their learning.

 

Learning outcomes

  • Increase understanding why a victim-survivor may be reluctant to engage in a conversation about family violence.
  • Strategies to enhance victim-survivor engagement.
  • Strategies for gradually building a victim-survivor’s capacity to manage their risk.
  • Techniques to support client to stay engaged
