AGM – Centenary Celebrations

1912-2012 – The Centre is Celebrating its 100th Birthday

On the 15th October the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare is celebrating its 100th year at a special Annual General Meeting.

The Centre is one of Victoria’s oldest peak bodies, and looks forward to recognising this significant anniversary with members, sector colleagues and industry leaders.

Dr Simon Longstaff from the St James Ethics Centre will be speaking on Big Society – the UK Conservative Party’s 2010 program to empower communities through giving local governments’ greater responsibility, while supporting charities and social enterprises, and enhancing government transparency.

Registration for the AGM will commence at 4.30pm in the Treetop Room at the Melbourne Museum, with formal proceedings followed by celebratory canapés and reflections on the Centre’s achievements.
