Breakfast Forum – Dr James Anglin

The Centre is pleased to announce a breakfast forum on May 17th to discuss New Directions in Policy and Planning for Residential Care.

The forum will address:

  • The place of residential care in the out-of-home care service mix in child protection systems.
  • New developments in residential care internationally.
  • Strategies for improving outcomes for children & young people.
  • Key decision making in residential care provision.

Dr James Anglin from the University of Victoria in Canada will perform the keynote address, with other panel members including Gill Callister (DHS), Professor Philip Mendes (Monash University), Paul McDonald (Anglicare), Murial Bamblett (VACCA), Audra McHugh (CREATE) and Dr Darryl Higgins (Australian Institute of Family Studies).
