Manage Budgets and Financial Plans

Aim of the training:

This course will equip participants to undertake financial management within a work team in their organisation. It includes planning and implementing financial management approaches, supporting team members whose role involves aspects of financial operations, monitoring and controlling finances and reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of financial management processes.

It is applicable to staff who have the responsibility for ensuring that work team financial resources are used effectively and are managed in line with the financial objectives of the team and organisation.

The content of this course is in line with the accredited unit of competency: BSBFIM501 Manage Budgets and Financial Plans.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this training participant will be able to:

• Access and clarify budget/financial plans for the team.
• Implement financial management approaches.
• Implement processer to monitor expenditure and costs.
• Collate and analyse data on the effectiveness of financial management processes.
