RCLDS – Drug and alcohol assessment and young people

Friday April 16, 2021, 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Free

This workshop is only available to residential care workers in Victoria.

Have you ever wondered how best to understand the circumstance that lead young people to use and abuse substances? Do you assess their wider circumstances or just what drugs they are using? What about their mental health?

In this webinar you will become familiar with the current AOD assessment tools in use throughout Victoria. You will also understand how they inform our understanding of youth substance use and possible treatment options,  gain a better understanding of Biopsychosocial assessment options available to support your young people.

This webinar is most useful for those who work with young people who may be using substances.
