Facilitator Bio
Megan Corcoran, Director of Wagtail Institute, a wellbeing consultant with a strong focus on youth and staff wellbeing in complex settings, will share her insights on preventing compassion fatigue and burnout. Drawing from her extensive background in alternative education and positive psychology, Megan will offer tangible approaches to managing exposure to trauma while fostering staff effectiveness and wellbeing. Donna Richards, a Senior Consultant at the Australian Childhood Foundation, brings to the table a wealth of experience in facilitating training and implementing trauma-informed frameworks across various domains. With her expertise, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the role of clinical supervision in trauma-informed care. By exploring the neuroscience of resilience and the significance of self-care, Donna will equip participants with practical strategies to prevent vicarious trauma and burnout among practitioners.
