Understanding Equal Pay – Education Sessions

Australia’s industrial relations environment for community and disability workers was changed by Fair Work Australia’s Equal Pay Case and the implementation of the new SACS Modern Award on July 1st 2012.

These changes provide challenges for both employers and employees to implement, so the Australian Government has assigned funding for an education and information program to help the industry understand these changes.

The Australian Services Union is providing free education and information sessions to all workers in the SACS sector, with opportunities for additional sessions to be held at individual workplaces.

For more information see the flyer or ASU website for more information.
