Vale – Judith Newbold

It is with great regret that we announce the passing of Judith Newbold – the Centre’s former Manager of Learning and Development.

All of us at the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare are deeply saddened by the death of our friend and former colleague, who retired in May this year after six years at the organisation.

Judith made an enormous contribution to our sector during her time at the Centre, establishing strong and lasting partnerships with many organisations across Australia. Through her work facilitating regional Learning Circles, providing hands-on assistance to CSOs requiring registration, regular consultations around training activities and much more, Judith contributed greatly to increasing the capacity of individuals and organisations across our child and family sector.

Judith will be remembered for her strength, compassion and carefully considered contributions. She is greatly missed by all of us at the Centre.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Council Australia. http://www.cancer.org.au/
