Early Childhood Intervention National Project Committees

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has asked ECIA to provide recommendations for a set of national guidelines for minimum standards in Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) service delivery for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Two Project Officers have been appointed by ECIA and Expressions of Interest are invited from key stakeholders in the Early Childhood Intervention field to form an Expert Advisory Committee. The purpose of the committee is to provide technical advice to the Project Team and to support the National Guidelines project as needed until the project completion in July 2015.

The Expert Advisory Committee will bring together a collection of individuals with expert knowledge and skills within the field of Early Childhood Intervention which complements the knowledge and skills of the National Guidelines Project Team.

The Project Team consists of Dree Ballardin, the contact person for Eastern Australia and Leah Temme, the contact person for Central and Western Australia. Dree has a background in project management and Leah's background is in Education.

Please find below relevant documentation detailing the specific roles of the Expert Advisory Group and the range of professional attributes we are seeking in order to form a balanced committee.

If you would like to be considered as a member of the Expert Advisory Committee please attach a short statement detailing your area of expertise and what you feel you could contribute to the committee (as outlined in the Expression of Interest). The Expert Advisory Committee is expected to be announced in early April 2015.
