EastCare Early Years Forum

The Salvation Army EastCare is hosting a forum on the 22nd November to explore the best ways to address the needs of babies and infants in homeless services.

The forum aims to bring awareness to the impact homelessness has on children aged up to 5 years to promote trauma informed approaches, and discuss best practice program design and case practices.

Speakers at the forum will include:

  • Bernie Geary – Victorian Child Safety Commissioner
  • Violet Kolar – Assistant Manager Research, Hanover Welfare Services
  • Jeanette Miller – Australian Childhood Foundation
  • Amelia Harris – Supported Play Groups Coordinator
  • Suzie Richards – Resilient Kids, Eastern Statewide Children's Resource Program
