Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework (MARAM)

  • MARAM victim survivor intermediate training – for Department of Health workforces with MARAM intermediate level responsibilities (such as but not limited to – the alcohol and other drug workforce, and staff that work in all mental health and wellbeing services, including designated mental health services). If you need help understanding your MARAM level of responsibility please check with your organisation, or email


The aim of MARAM is to increase the safety and wellbeing of Victorians by ensuring relevant services can effectively identify, assess and manage family violence risk. MARAM was established in law under Part 11 of the Family Violence Protection Act 2008. More information.
