Price Indexation

The Centre participated in the Community Sectors advocacy day at State Parliament on 18/4/2012 hosted by VCOSS.

Community sector representatives met with over 50 MP’s to highlight the need to provide price indexation based on the established formula – 85% of the governments wage indexation and 15% CPI.

The sector also heard from Minister Wooldridge who cautioned that indexation beyond 50 % of the current 3.14% would be difficult to obtain.
The Centre will advise members of the outcome which is expected to be announced in next week’s state budget.
